1. Raspberry Sorbet
Raspberry sorbet was not yet part of our selection of online recipes, even though it is inarguably a classic. We have now remedied the situation, especially given that this sorbet is relatively simple to make. Raspberries are particularly great to use in this recipe because of their tartness, grassiness and freshness. A delicacy that’ll surely refresh you!

2. Ice Cream Mochi
Our Test Kitchen was won over by this Japanese treat made from glutinous rice flour. So they decided to whip up their own version. In this dessert, scoops of store-bought ice cream are wrapped in a chewy and elastic batter. This recipe requires a bit of extra prep work, but the time spent on it is absolutely worth it. These bites are best enjoyed in the heat of summer.

3. Lemon Frozen Yogurt
An essential summer dessert, frozen yogurt can be made in a wide variety of flavours. In this instance, we opted for lemon. It’s light and velvety, and it can be enjoyed in a cone or bowl. Now, would you like one scoop or two?

4. Giant Ice Cream Sandwich with Chocolate Chips
Introducing an impressive combination of ice cream sandwich and chocolate chip cookie, family-sized, no less! Given most cookies made with butter tend to harden in the freezer, we replaced it here with a magic ingredient: mayonnaise. Yes! The latter ensures a soft and chewy cookie, and it remains as such even when frozen. It’s a joy both to eat and to share.

5. Lemon Meringue Pie Paletas
Our chef Isabelle Deschamps Plante first found out about paletas during her travels to Mexico. In this recipe, we’ve given these ice pops a bright lemony flavour and added graham cracker crumbs, a nod to lemon pie. Once frozen, they’re topped with a Swiss meringue, denser and more stable than a French meringue, which is treated like marshmallow.

6. Honey and Elderflower Slushies
The hotter it gets, the more our desire for a thirst-quenching drink increases. In this slushie recipe, the trio of honeydew, cucumber and elderflower syrup go hand in hand, bringing a fresh and grassy side to the drink. You can also add white rum or elderflower liqueur for a more grown-up version. Even better than the ones you get at the corner store!
