As for agua, it’s inspired by Agua de Bilbao (a sparkling wine) and the fact that this cocktail is as thirst-quenching as water itself. With the addition of bubbles, we’re reminded of mimosas. Ingredients

- 1 cup (250 ml) freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/3 cup (75 ml) light cane syrup
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) vodka
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) gin
- 3 cups (750 ml) cava or sparkling wine, cold
- Orange slices (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional)

Preparation

- In a pitcher, combine the orange juice, cane syrup, vodka and gin. Add the cold cava or sparkling wine. Serve in wine glasses with orange slices and ice cubes.
