We like the flavour of oat beverage in this recipe but you can choose any non-dairy beverage of your choice.

You can also use deodorized (refined) coconut oil or replace the coconut oil with the same quantity of vegetable shortening or hard vegan butter, which has the texture of regular butter and is found in the refrigerated aisle of most grocery stores.

The baking time will be between 22 to 24 minutes for frozen scones.
