Angels Are Omnipresent

Unlike their creator, angels are not omnipresent. They cannot exist everywhere, all at once, with an infinite understanding of what's happening on Earth.

Many times throughout the Bible, angels appear to deliver a specific message or arrive to help God's followers during a time of need. They travel at God's command, so they're not present everywhere at the same time. Daniel 9:21-23 documents this movement of the angels:

While I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice. He instructed me and said to me, “Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. As soon as you began to pray, a word went out, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed. Therefore, consider the word and understand the vision."

In this verse, Gabriel travels to give word to Daniel, rather than reveal himself at the exact moment Daniel starts to pray, as an omnipresent being would.
